Guest rooms on the top floor with private open-air bath. You get the natural "silver" bath waters all to yourself and can enjoy a view of the Joshin'etsu mountains all year round from the bath.
KATSURA
A guest room with private open-air bath on the top floor of the main wing. There are two rooms—a 10-tatami mat room and a 12-tatami mat room (with two beds) to comfortably sleep up to eight people. You get the transparent "silver" bath waters all to yourself and can enjoy a view of the Joshin'etsu mountains all year round.
Guest Room with View from Cypress Bath
HOURAI
A Western-style room with relaxing atmosphere. From the spacious wood-floored room (size equivalent to over 15 tatami mats) you can see the Ikaho Stone Steps, one of the three most famous stairways in Japan, and on a clear day the Tanigawa mountain range. The fragrant hinoki cypress bath with view is particularly popular among guests.

MAYUMI
A Japanese-modern room with a calming folk-style atmosphere. The bath is adorned with illuminated mosaic tiles for an elegant ambiance. Inside the bathtub, we use beautiful Towa stone to make the hot water visually appealing, allowing you to fully enjoy Ikaho Onsen's Silver Water.

ZAKURO
The room 'ZAKURO' offers a luxurious private bath and a view of the stone steps from the large window, allowing you to fully appreciate the ambiance of Ikaho Onsen. Enjoy quality time with your loved ones in this spacious and relaxing space.

KAEDE
A Western-style room designed by the proprietress that incorporates Japanese sensibilities. The Asian-style terrace has a Shigaraki-ware ceramic bathtub and the bed is queen-size.
North Wing Open-Air Bath Room
TSUGA
This charming Japanese-style room features a delightful open-air bath. Despite its cozy size, it provides a peaceful and comfortable space for you to relax and unwind.
SAWARA
Similar to the Tsuga, this room has a standard Japanese layout, but the pathway to the open-air bath, which beckons you to visit repeatedly, allows you to fully immerse yourself in the traditional Japanese inn experience right from your room.
South Wing Guest Rooms
HINOKI
The famous Ikaho Stone Steps are visible directly from this spacious room, which includes a 10-tatami mat main room, 6-mat adjoining room, and 5-mat indoor veranda room. The décor is authentic Japanese. The room is ideal for a family or a group of friends. Although there is no bathtub, water from the shower is rich in negative ions from Guiyang stone, commonly found in hot stone spas.

NARA・UTSUGI・YANAGI
The famous Ikaho Stone Steps are visible directly from
this room, which includes a 10-tatami mat main room and
6-mat indoor veranda room. The décor is authentic
Japanese. Although there is no bathtub, water from the
shower is rich in negative ions from Guiyang stone,
commonly found in hot stone spas.
(Views are slightly different from the Nara and Utsugi
rooms.)
North Wing Rooms
HIIRAGI・KUNUGI
Room on the 4th floor of the North Wing with garden.
From the garden enjoy a view of the Joshu mountains and
the streets of Ikaho.
Room layout and view are slightly different in the
Tsubaki room.
椿・榎
TSUBAKI・ENOKI
Rooms on the 3rd or 4th floor of the North Wing—our
standard rooms at Oyado Tamaki. From these rooms you can
enjoy a view of the Joshu mountains and the streets of
Ikaho.
(Room layouts and views are slightly different in the
Tsubaki, Enoki rooms.)
楸・桐
HISAGI・KIRI
Rooms on the 3rd or 4th floor of the North Wing. The rooms are cozy with a good view, similar to a 7th or 8th floor view thanks to the inn's high elevation.
Family Room
KASHIWA
A spacious guest room that sleeps 12. There are two
separate rooms off a single entrance, making Kashiwa a
favorite for families and groups. An additional 3-tatami
mat room with a heated table recessed into the floor
offers an atmosphere of relaxed conversation.
(To go from the 3rd floor to the 4th floor or to access
the shared bath, please take the stairs.)
Main Wing Rooms
SHINA
Our standard, most-loved guest rooms. In 12-tatami mat
and 15-tatami mat sizes. Guests use a shared bath
outside the room.
Room layout is slightly different in the Shina room.
